Alex Pearson leaves Scottish Fencing

Scottish Fencing says goodbye today to Alex Pearson as he leaves the role of Club Development Officer after 7 months.

Alex was pivotal in many areas during his time particularly around developing robust management information alongside building strong relationships with clubs embarking on their own Development journeys.

Vincent Bryson, Scottish Fencing Chief Operating Officer was clear in his praise of Alex’s contribution.

“It was a pleasure to work with Alex over the last 7 months as his infectious enthusiasm for the sport and the art of Club Development shone through. He made a key contribution for the organisation across the spectrum of sports development and we are delighted we could be part of his journey. He leaves us with our best wishes for the future and I hope we see him again in another capacity within Fencing.”

Scottish Fencing recently advertised for a Club Development Manager and an announcement on this new, different role will be made next week after the office reopens.
